Isabelle (or Shizue, if you prefer) is one of Moody's favorite characters. She identifies with Isabelle, but also looks up to her, sees her demeanor, professionalism, and can-do attitude as things to aspire to.
This piece was a bit earlier in Moody's exploration of crayons, if memory serves, but you can already see beautiful use of different colors combined to create rich shading effects and rare hues.
